Who Said Work Can’t Be Soulful & Full of Creative Aliveness?
Hi, I’m Linda Nenne – a neuro-spicy mother & keeper of a garden, once upon a time owner of a 6-figure boutique yoga studio that I closed in my late 30s because soul was calling me in a different direction.
Things most people don’t know about my personal soul’s work journey:
After studying Graphic Design and Media & Communication at University in my 20s I worked as a Project Manager at a Marketing Consultant firm. My dream at the time was to become a PR agent for Absolute Vodka.
When I left the corporate world in my late 20s (hello Saturn return) I worked as a manager for a surf & yoga lodge in Mozambique. When I was there the glue in my passport melted in the humidity, my passport fell apart, I overstayed my visa and had to bribe and smuggle myself out of the country.
In my early 30s I opened a boutique yoga studio on the island where I now live, Åland Islands. It became a 6-figure business using posters in the supermarket and word-of-mouth as marketing. During that time I assisted at big international yoga teacher trainings, organized yoga retreats in India, Greece and Bali, facilitated for groups of 50+ humans (which I btw at the time was not ready for), to then leaving all of that behind to become a mother in my late 30s.
After becoming a mother I spent 4+ years in the underworld and the fertile dark. During that time I ran a no brand, no niche business doing and studying whatever I was drawn to. I refused to put myself into a box just to make my business successful and instead allowed myself space and time to decompose, explore, recompose.
Side note: this might sound like it was easy breezy, it wasn’t. But it was during that time that my soul’s work really began to come into form because I allowed myself to be transformed.
