The Sorceress Archetype
The Sorceress is a powerful female archetype to turn towards and call in for guidance when you are breaking the spell of patriarchal conditioning, deepening your relationship with and befriending inner energies, and becoming a clear channel and conduit for your soul-led work.
The Sorceress knows that change happens within before it is manifested without, and that change comes from deep self knowledge and working with inner energies in a creative, compassionate and clear way.
The Sorceress is attuned to her thoughts, emotions, inner images and nervous system, and she meets it all as energy and guidance that she can be in a creative relationship with, and through the relationship decompose and recompose energy. She knows that no energy is ever lost, it is a continuous shape shifting and she wields that process with discernment and through co-creation with Soul and Source.
The Sorceress is a sovereign woman who couldn’t care less about the patriarchal gaze or the patriarchal roles, she is hand-making her own path deeply rooted in feminine wisdom and through integration of both her own inner masculine and inner feminine. She holds, loves, and celebrates her inner maiden as she breaks the spell of patriarchal conditioning and reclaim her sexual energy as her own creative power.
She engages with and is a active participant in processes of inner transformation by holding opposites together to let a secret third emerge, something that is more than the sum of the parts. She is actively unifying all the parts of herself into the wholeness of who she is and continuously becoming.
She has returned from her soul descent more times than she can count, she knows that its not a one time event, but a continuous cycle of descent and return and each time she gets more skilled at navigating the journey. She is both the nurturing healer, the compassionate midwife, and the fiercely independent and solitary woman of the wild.
The Sorceress operates outside the confines of logic, reason, and linear time lines, She moves in the spiral, in the realm of enchantment, magic, mystery, shadow lands and the imaginal. She is deeply connected to soul, source, nature, and animism - which to her includes so called inanimate objects. To the Sorceress everything is animate and alive.
