Who Said Life and Work Can’t Be Soulful & Full of Creative Aliveness?
I’m Linda Nenne – a neuro-spicy mother & keeper of a garden, once upon a time owner of a flourishing boutique yoga studio that I closed in my late 30s because soul was calling me in a different direction.
I didn’t grow up thinking life and work could be soulful, nourishing, full of aliveness and enjoyment. Quite the opposite.
None of my parents ever started their own business or engaged in soulful and creative work. The message I got was to get a steady income and marry someone rich, yep I was told that.
MY SOUL CALLING WAS TOO STRONG
But none of the advice I got growing up stuck to me because my soul calling was too strong and it wanted something entirely different for me.
It’s been a long winding road from studying Graphic Design and Media & Communication at University, to being a Project Manager at a Marketing Consultant firm, to leaving all of it behind because I was disgusted by the manipulative tactics.
After leaving the corporate world in my late 20s (hello Saturn return ) I landed on the beaches of Mozambique where I managed a Surf & Yoga Lodge before I headed to India to become a yoga teacher.
In my early 30s I opened a boutique yoga studio on the island where I now live, Åland Islands, assisted at big international yoga teacher trainings, organized yoga retreats in India, Greece and Bali, facilitated for groups of 50+ humans (which I btw at the time was not ready for), to then leaving all of that behind to become a mother in my late 30s.
THE BIG TRANSFORMATION
My late 30s sparked a complete somatic psycho-spiritual transformation and reimagining of what I am here to offer, who the Soul of My Work wants to serve, and how I want to be in the world.
There is a clear before and after this transformation.
The before was me living as a young woman wounded by the patriarchy, stuck in the Good Girl and Helper archetype thinking it was my job to save and help everyone with everything. I thought my work was only about serving others whilst I myself was feeling insecure, anxious and hiding behind a filtered and curated mask. A mask that was very uncomfortable to wear because it wasn’t a conscious choice, I thought I had to wear it to be accepted, liked and chosen by others.
The after is the rise of the Sorceress archetype, where my inner young woman is celebrated in her power rather than sacrificed on the altar of the patriarchal gaze. Where my creative aliveness and in relationship with the archetypal energy of my work are what leads the way. This is the era where I get to enjoy my work as much as you who receives it. My Soul’s Work is built around the life I want to live and lead, not the other way around, and my nervous system health is as important as my soul calling and vice versa.
I am here to walk with you who is a soulful and creative visionary to support you to tap into your own power and personal leadership as you are audaciously birthing, building and leading the life you want to live in relationship with your your healing, creative and transformational Soul’s Work.
Your soul and your creative aliveness is one of the most valuable parts of the ecosystem of you, your life and your work.
