Part 4 of ‘The 3 phases of a soul infused cyclical business’
The most important things to focus on when you’re in the Regenerative Void
Profit maximization is not the best business practice
In Part 1 I shared with you why mainstream business advice, that focus on profit maximization, won’t work FOR YOU.
If you haven’t read it, you can read it here: https://sorceresspath.com/blog/2026/11/3/the-three-phases-of-a-human-centered-cyclical-business
In mainstream business there is no space for you to craft work that is deeply meaningful for you, the business owner, or for the people your work is here to serve.
Because crafting that kind of work takes time, dedication, patience, transformation, and time in the regenerative void.
To craft soul and eros infused transformational work that truly makes a difference in people’s lives you have to of into the Regenerative Void.
Because the Regenerative Void is the very place out of which creative inspiration, insight, fresh perspectives, new attitudes and ideas emerge.
Today I want to share with you the most important things to focus on when you are in the RV phase with your business.
But before we get into I want to remind you that during the RV phase of business your libido, your life force goes underground, and your job is to follow it …
... so even tho it might look like you’re doing nothing from the outside, this phase calls for your active participation.
Key things to focus on in the Regenerative Void of business?
🗝️ Do things that deeply nourish you, the founder and leader of your business
Make a list of things that truly nourish you. I call these things the dry firewood.
These things are food for your inner fire, but they’re not gasoline.
Think of it as the difference between feeding a fire dry firewood that slowly builds the fire vs throwing gasoline on it. Some things can give you big bursts of energy, but they are not sustainable.
🗝️ Stream of consciousness write and doodle
If journaling for 10, or even 5 minutes a day feels like too much, commit to opening a blank page and writing one sentence each day. This is also the time to make a lot of ”bad art”. Doodle, make messy paintings, draw with an ink pen on a napkin.
🗝️ Meander in nature
Let yourself walk in nature without any specific direction. If you often walk the same path, make tiny shifts. This could be to walk on the opposite side of the path or look in a direction you normally don’t look. As you walk let your thoughts roam freely.
🗝️ Organize your sock drawer in a slow and meditative pace
Put on music with lyrics that you enjoy and can sign along to. Organize your sock drawer or a messy corner in your home. You don’t have to finish it, just give your hands something to organize and your voice something to express.
🗝️ Honor your dreams
Practice noticing your nighttime dreams, or take a dream nap during the day (my favorite RV practice). Write down your dreams, even if it’s just one subtle image or a faint feeling tone lingering from the dreamworld.
🗝️ Immerse yourself in the elements - earth, water, fire, air
Lay down on the ground, walk barefoot, dig your hands into soil.
Take long showers or baths, if possible go for a swim in sea/ocean.
Build a fire and sit by the fire, or light candles and sit with the flame.
Commune with air/wind. Notice how it touches your skin, stand in the wind, smell what the wind carries.
🗝️ Reflect upon what you can see clearly
Clarity is not the same as certainty or knowing exactly what you need to do in every moment.
Clarity is seeing what you have in front of you and noticing what is happening inside of you, and being willing to act from what you notice, being willing to take one step to see what happens next.
Go deeper into soul making
